Here are some things you need to know before we get started:
• Portraits are done in black and white, with pencil and/or ink, on acid-free bristol paper.
• The best finished product benefits from photos that are as large and clear as possible, however, I will do my best to work with photos that are smaller and/or out of focus.
• I offer 2 standard sizes – 8 x 10” and 11 x 14”, but I can indeed do other sizes upon request.
• I can create a custom design, or combine multiple photos into one drawing (additional subject charges apply). Custom work is done at $100/hr.
• The price for a standard portrait (one subject) 8 x 10 starts at $500; a standard 11 x 14 is $1,000. Additional subjects are $100 each. I do ask for a 50% non-refundable deposit before I begin work. Prints of the completed drawing can be made available, and are $50 plus shipping.
• I will send in-progress images during the process for you to review. Changes and/or revisions are welcome, within reason.
• Turnaround time varies upon several factors, but I will give you an approximate date for completion. If you need the portrait done by a specific date, please let me know as far in advance as possible.
• Once you’re satisfied with the finished product, I will let you know what the final amount will be with shipping included. If you have a preferred method of shipping, just let me know and I’ll do my best to accommodate.
• In the event you aren’t completely satisfied with the final product, I will do what I can to make it right.
